Forecasts can be wrong

Wind O'Clock compares weather forecasts with the rules you set. Forecasts are often wrong, especially for gusts, local effects and showers, and an alert is not a promise that conditions are good or safe. Always judge the conditions yourself on the spot, against your own skill, gear and the local rules. You are responsible for your own safety.

No guarantees

The service is currently free and provided as it is. If that changes, you'll hear in advance, and nothing paid starts without your agreement. Alerts can be late, wrong or not arrive at all, and the service can change or stop at any time.

Using it

Use your own email address, and don't misuse the service, for example by sending login links to other people's addresses or automating requests. Accounts that do may be removed.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm from using the service or relying on its alerts.
